Overwrite Import
Has the information in your imported deals changed since initially imported? You can now perform an overwrite import to mass update the information in the following fields:
Closing Date
CASL
Term
Deal Status
Mortgage Amount
Lender Name
Amortization
Maturity Date
Step One:
To overwrite your imported deals, they must still be under the Historical Deals section. If you had already updated them to the Velocity dashboard, you would first need to revert them to historical. Follow the link below for instructions on how to do so.
Step Two:
Open up the Importer from under Tools on the navigation bar at the left of your homepage.
Ensure ‘Overwrite existing data’ is selected and upload the file which contains the information you wish to update and click upload.
Step Three:
Review the mapped fields, when using an Expert Consolidated CSV, these fields are pre-mapped as with the standard importer, then click Import to Velocity. Depending on the size of the file, this may take a few minutes to process.
Once the overwrite import has completed, you will see a summary of the deals that have been updated.
Step Four:
The deals with the updated information will now reflect under Historical Deals ready to be updated to your Velocity Dashboard and CASL opted in.
When you open up the deals individually, the updates and timestamp will be recorded under the Notes section on the deal.
