Importing Deals from Expert

The first step to importing your deals is to get your consolidated data from Expert:

 

  1. Log into your Expert account

  2. Select Tools > Extract to CRM

  3. Check off Level, select Agent and choose your name from the drop down menu

  4. Check off Application Entry Date and select the required date range

  5. Click Search

  6. Check off Select All Unlocked Records

  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Extract Type and choose Consolidated

  8. Select Extract to CRM

    1. It may take a short while for your consolidated CSV file to download. Go back to Extract to CRM under Tools to see the status of your download

  9. Save the file as a CSV file on your desktop (with your name in the title)

 

Important To Note:

The imported deals will automatically be assigned to the account of whoever is logged in and processing the import. Deals of one Agent should not be imported to the account of another. Ensure that your CSV only contains deals which belong to you.

 

Now you are ready to import your data to Velocity:

 

  1. Select Tools > Importer from the Left-Hand Side Navigation Bar.

2. Select Deal as your Data Type and Expert (consolidated) as your Data Source and upload your file

 

 

3. All fields will automatically map, scroll down to review and then click Import to Velocity

 

4. Now all your imported deals will reflect under Historical Deals

 

Important To Note:

  • In order to submit or pull credit off of an Expert imported deal, you will need to duplicate it from the Actions button on the deal page.

  • The imported deals will automatically be assigned to the account of whoever is logged in and processing the import. Deals of one Agent should not be imported to the account of another. Ensure that your CSV only contains deals which belong to you.

 

 

Next Step

Once your data has been imported, to have it show on your active Deals Dashboard and activated for CRM, you need to update it from the Historical Deals page. Watch our guide on how to update your imported deals.
