Step-By-Step - Email Tagging in Velocity

The purpose of email tagging is to create an email history within your deal.  

To do this, you simply have to include the deal number and your license ID number in the email.

 

An example would look like this:

Copy and paste the Tag Licence ID number and Deal number from Velocity into the message box.

 

  • The tag email address is pasted into the Cc or Bcc line

Eg. tag-ohfp@velocity.newton.ca  

 

[Your tag license ID number can be found under your settings under email options]

 

  • The Firm Code Deal number must always have the square brackets around the number

Eg.[QRST-22903]

 

Every email that is tagged with the specific Deal Number and Tag Licence ID number, can be found in the System Email History in Velocity in that specific deal.
