Twilio step by step

In order to send SMS through Velocity, you will need to set up a Twilio account. 

In Velocity, navigate to Me > Settings

At the top right of the screen where you see Twilio, click Connect. 

Once you’ve signed up or logged in, click the refresh button in the Twilio box on your Velocity settings. 

You now need to purchase you SMS phone number. Click the blue toggle in the Twilio box on your Settings page and enter your preferred area code. Twilio will search for available numbers within that area code. Choose the number you like. 

Tip: When you send an SMS message through the system to your client it will show as coming from your designated Twilio number. You may want to provide this number to your client in advance, so they know it’s coming from you and have them add it to your stored contact information.
